SAFE Green Food Powders are made from fresh, young shoots, organically grown in Australia in some of the richest soils in the world, and include Green Barley, Wheat Grass, Alfalfa and Spelt varieties. These tender shoots are harvested at a height of 20cm, when they have reached their nutritional peak. They are then processed by slowly drying at body temperature and milled into a fine soluble powder, thereby retaining the valuable properties. Absolutely nothing else is added (except for the kelp and brown rice in Green Barley Plus), unlike many other green barley and wheat grass juice extract products that contain additives such as maltodextrin sugars (some contain up to 25% maltodextrin & 20% cooked brown rice).

The SAFE range includes their flagship product Green Barley Plus, containing pure Green Barley Powder with added kelp (1%) and uncooked brown rice (10%) for additional nutritional properties. Green Barley Plus is also available in convenient vegetable capsules.
