    Product Description

    Green Barley powder is naturally grown - free from pesticides and artificial fertilisers. It is a whole leaf powder made from 100% barley leaf and it contains no additives whatsoever and so provides the benefits of pure leaf extract and natural plant fibre.

    Green Barley powder is high in chlorophyll, carotene, vitamins, essential minerals, dietary fibre and is a concentrated source of plant protein.

    Green Barley powder is dried at low temperature (38 degrees C) for maximum potency. Our final processing method ensures that the powder will disperse in cold liquids as readily as most instantised juice powders. The barley leaf used is harvested at its peak nutritional level and processed within 60 minutes of being cut. It is grown in Australia in areas renowned for their production of high quality barley crops, and isolation from pollutants.

    Green Barley powder can be taken directly in it's powdered form or mixed with other cold foods or liquids. For best results it should be mixed with water or fruit juice and taken on an empty stomach.

    Serving 1 to 2 teaspoons (2 to 4 gms) daily on average for adults. Serving may be altered as required.

    Green Barley powder is a natural plant product. To retain it's quality and freshness it's container should be closed tightly after use and stored in a dry, cool location away from light. Note: Use a dry spoon ONLY to remove powder from the container.

    Product Description
    Green Barley leaf powder consists of the leaf portion of freshly harvested young barley plants (Hordeum vulgarevars) which have been dehydrated, milled and blended. The leaf shall be sourced from winter grown barley cut at around the first jointing stage and grown using natural agricultural methods.

    General Requirements
      1. The product shall be manufactured, packed, stored and shipped in accordance with good manufacturing practices as described under the provisions of the Food and Drug Regulations and Amendments of all States of Australia.
      2. Materials must be supplied freshly cut and transported under sanitary conditions.
      3. Acceptance of leaf shall be dependent upon receipt of sample tissue analysis from an accredited laboratory showing that there are no detectable levels of organophosphate or organochlorine pesticides at a level 10% of that set by the Australian Food and Medical Standards Association.
